Lemongrass

This grass emits a fresh, clean lemony scent, can grow up to 3 feet tall and is high in vitamin C and citral (60-80%). Geography: Originated in the tropics of Asia and Africa. It is now also cultivated in the Americas and Australia.

Historical Uses

Used for its anti-microbial, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, sedative and cleansing qualities and for its ability to repel insects. It is commonly found in bath oils, lotions, soaps, scrub, soaks and deodorants.
